Entrepreneurship Competitions

Upcoming competitions:

EPIC (Entrepreneurs International Challenge)

This competition would give the participants a unique experience and also an immense opportunity for Stanford students to interact with other budding entrepreneurs from leading universities across the globe.

EPIC is a five-day international business skills competition involving 10 bright and ambitious teams from across the globe to take part in challenges in the finals in London. This competition was inspired by The Apprentice and has been successfully run for 4 consecutive years.

Last year, the 2008 finals included teams from Thailand and Hungary, with the £3,000 cash prize ultimately being won by the University of Cambridge. The competition has two stages, a preliminary challenge round through which we shortlist the 10 finalists, and the finals week, involving a series of informative talks of well-known entrepreneurial leaders, workshops and physical challenges in Marketing, sales, business and strategy and socials.

This year EPIC will be held between Monday 23rd and Friday 27th February 2009 (The Preliminary Challenge deadline is 14th January). You can download the preliminary challenge packs from the website (www.epicuk.org) and on our Facebook Group (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=33173444145).
